Besim Ajeti is a founder and director of “Pjeter Budi” College in Prishtina. He is a hard working individual and an artist who contributes highly with all his work for Kosovo’s future.

Cinematographer – from craft to art

This lecture focuses on the cinematographer’s role as a craftsman and artist in the process of filmmaking, with an emphasis on combining theory and practice. It will go over applying different lighting and camera techniques and using the latest technologies to achieve the desired look of the final product, keeping the highest technical and aesthetic criteria as a priority.

Christo Bakalov

Christo Bakalov is originally from Bulgaria, graduated with a Master‘s in Cinematography from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, in 1983. Mr. Bakalov and his family moved to the US in 1998. He is an award winning cinematographer whose work is distinctive with delicacy and poetic expression. He works around the world on different projects, mostly on feature films. Mr. Bakalov has been honored several times with “Best Cinematography Awards” for his artistic visual achievements in the field of cinematography, including the “Artistic Excellence in Cinematography Award” at CTFF 2008. He is originally from Bulgaria, graduating with a Master‘s in Cinematography from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, in 1983. Mr. Bakalov and his family moved to the US in 1998.
